BIO: Alex Chang has been dancing Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Reggaeton, and other dances before learning about Brazilian Zouk. For the past six years, he has taught in various states and countries including Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland, Canada, MExico, NY, HI, TN, DC, MA, and countless others. He is most well-known as the "ShyGuy" MC Alex, where he became the 1st North American Zouk MC and has been invited to host in Europe for Prague, Dutch, Zurich, Russia, etc. He organizes the most Zouk events and socials in NYC and collaborates numerous times with Bachata, Salsa, West Coast Swing, and Kizomba events. Hosts the biggest, consistent weekly Zouk social in North America on Tuesdays. Particpated in Zouk performance teams and partnerships. Certified to teach by Zouk New York - ZKNY teacher course, taken other teacher advanced courses by ZenZouk, Eglantine Oliveira, etc. First taught by Kim Zk NY, Ry'el Zenzouk, and Shannon Cronyn. Competed in numerous Zouk competitions around the world and taken top 3 places several times.
