About this Event

The Charleston Stroll (sometimes also called the Singapore Stroll) is a super fun solo jazz routine that is easy to learn and great to dance! It was choreographed by famous dancer Sing Yuen Lim from Singapore, and is danced to "Put a Lid on it" by the Squirrel Nut Zippers. This class is suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced dancers, as we'll take you through the steps one by one, building up to the full choreography with plenty of time for practice. Solo jazz is also a fantastic way to improve your partner dancing as it will give you loads of cool stylings and moves to play with and improve your dancing over all!
