Auditions are for Alma Brooklyn Ladies Bachata Date: Tuesday April 26th Time: 8:30pm to 9:30pm Locations: Dancewave Studios, 45 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, Corner of Dean Street and 4th Avenue Located 2 blocks from the Atlantic avenue/Barclay Center Terminal Located in downtown Brooklyn Subway Lines available: B,D,N,R,Q,A,C,G,2,3,4,5 & LIRR Alma Latina is a dance company with MULTIPLE World Champion Awards in Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha and Cumbia in numerous divisions including Professional, Teams, Pro/Am, Amateur, Seniors etc. No other team has won more trophies in the world than Alma Latina and now you can train with them here in Brooklyn! The opportunity is HERE and ready for you to audition for a chance to be part of ALMA LATINA DANCE COMPANY. Alma Brooklyn Bachata is a branch of World Champions Alma Latina Dance Company! Directed by Margie Montes. Dancers will learn and practice a routine that will help develop multiple level techniques and hone their dancing abilities, particularly spinning, partnering technique, footwork, body movement, and performance skills. The emphasis is movement of our body through space, musicality and intricate patterns with more body movement and isolations. Practice Day/Times: Every Tuesday from 8pm-10pm Teams will be working for 4-6 months in preparation to debut their routines at regional and out of state congresses, and local venues. What to bring to the audition: -Comfortable dancing shoes; Ladies bring your dance heels if available, if not jazz or dance sneakers are ok -Comfortable practice clothes: No jeans please. We will be warming up, stretching, and doing a lot of footwork and body movement so it is important to wear something that does not restrict full range of motion and is form fitting. -Plenty of water -A fun positive attitude ready to put in some work as you strive to become a better dancer and performer :) Any other questions please do not hesitate to contact me: Please arrive early to sign in.
