🚨 OPEN CALL FOR ALMA LATINA San Diego Teams 📢 You're a dancer who loves technique, discipline, and excellence? 💃💪 We're a perfect match! We are excited to announce our open call for new members of our brand new dance teams 🎉 Today, we can't wait to see your talent and passion for dance. This season, we will be offering two team modalities: 💃 Ladies Teams (2 levels of Fusion Latin Dance): Amateur and intermediate-advanced. 💪 Co-ed Teams (3 levels of Bachata teams): Amateur, Intermediate and Advanced. Auditions will be held on the following dates: 💪 Co-ed Teams: Jan 23nd 8:00-10:00 pm 💃 Ladies Teams: Jan 26th 6:00-8:00 pm The audition process will be as follows: First, we will learn a little footwork and choreography for our audition (intermediate team). - If you are auditioning for the advanced team you will be called to a second audition after you have passed this filter. The second hour will be reserved for the audition, where you will have an opportunity to perform three times. Everybody will be selected, and these auditions are only to place you on the team where you will have better opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive. What to expect: 💃 Alma Latina has a long-standing reputation for excellence and this year we are excited to raise the bar and innovate in the salsa and bachata industry. 🏅To ensure that you receive the best education and have the best chances of feeling proud of your performances, we maintain a high level of discipline 🌟 for this reason: To be considered for performance opportunities, we ask that you enroll in Gaby's Technique class and consistently attend rehearsals and technique classes with an 85% average attendance rate throughout the season. We are committed to helping you achieve your goals and are confident that with dedication and discipline, you will be able to shine on stage. Additional information: Rehearsals for Co-ed Teams will be on Mondays at 8:00 pm, and Ladies teams will be on Thursdays at 6:00 pm. The season will be 6 months long, running from February to August. You will have at least 6 performances during the final 2 months of the season. You will be required to wear a uniform during practice, which can be purchased on our website. Costumes will be ordered in the first month of the season, and delivered to you on the 3rd month. you will be provided a form to send your measurements. The price for costumes will be less than $150. All rehearsals will be broadcasted live and recorded, so you can catch up if you need to miss a class or want to rehearse extra on your own. Team rehearsal Monthly fees will be $100 and as a member of Alma Latina , you will receive a 20% discount in technique class.
