Alt Tango w Maestras & DJs Katia Diamond & Andrea Moncayo

Welcome back to Seattle's largest and happiest Alt Tango dance! This month we have the dynamic duo of Katia Diamond and Andrea Moncayo who will teach a one-hour class that will be specific to nuevo style music and dance (details posted later). They will then co-DJ our dance set AND offer a mid-dance performance! On Saturday evening they will teach and perform at Tango Barn (link here). Sunday Aug 3 2:00 to 3:30pm For those interested in traditional tango: Leader & Follower Technique Emphasizing Connection and Free Leg & Body Alignment Sunday Morning 10 to 1:30 Open for private lessons. Please arrange with Maestras. 100% of fee goes to teachers. Sunday Aug 3 4:00 to 5:30pm For those interested in Nuevo styling: Sacadas, Boleos and Turns Emphasizing Elasticity in Open Embrace Each 90 minute workshop is $30 cash or venmo at the door. Pre-registration not required. We sincerely hope you will take this opportunity to welcome these lovely maestras to Seattle and take classes and workshops as well. To entice you further, we are making this about community and not $$, so our fees will be super affordable. Pre-dance class is $20, dance is $20 and both are only $30!
