Ambidancetrous 101: Learning the Other Role

Presented by Lindy on Sproul! Being ambidancetrous means being able to dance as a lead and as a follow. Knowing both roles helps you become and all around better dancer AND enables you to dance with all of your friends! In this workshop, we'll start off with east coast and charleston. For the second half, we will dive into a full lindy lesson! Please come with any questions you have, since the workshop will mostly be driven by what you want to work on! This workshop is meant to be a safe and fun space where you can grow as a dancer and learn or work on your non-primary role. However, since we will be working on lindy hop, we request that you have at least taken B1 or that you are already comfortable with lindy in at least one dance role. If you ARE a B1 student, fear not! Lindy in Sproul is a great way to learn the fundamentals of east coast and charleston as a lead or follow! You can also approach anyone in Swing Core once you feel comfortable enough to learn the other role :D FREE and open to non students! Street parking available on Bancroft Street.
