Amor y Primavera: A Spring Milonga Benefit for Lake Merritt Dance

Amor y Primavera is a milonga celebrating Love and Spring organized by Tango Universe and TangoNation to raise money to support Lake Merritt Dance, the nonprofit that keeps the dance programs at Lake Merritt Veterans Hall going. WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT: Lake Merritt Dance is the non-profit that makes dancing at the Lake Merritt Veterans Hall possible. Lake Merritt Dance does all of the behind the scenes work to lease our beautiful building from the city of Oakland and provide space to over a dozen dance programs. Lake Merritt Dance’s goal is to keep rents as affordable as possible. Revenue from our dance programs does not cover all of our expenses, so we need community support to make up the difference. If everyone gives what they can, we will continue to be able to sustain the dance programs. Please give generously. Every little bit helps and we would love everyone’s support.
