Amour de Agapé Auditions

Agapé Dance Company is excited to announce that we will be holding our 3rd auditions for our Amateur competition team, Amour de Agapé as well as a non-competition training team. Although we will only be hosting one audition, attendees will have the opportunity to pick whether they want to audition for our competition team OR audition for our training team. Both will receive the same training BUT our competition team members will learn both a Bachata AND a Salsa routine which will both be competed at the World Salsa Summit, Euroson World Salsa Championships and hopefully a few other competitions throughout the year. Our training team will focus on training to become better dancers socially and performance wise & will learn a routine once everyone grasps all of the training that is being offered. Both will focus on general dance technique, lead and follow technique, spinning technique, connection, stage presence and all performance aspects. Previous dance experience is required for those interested in auditioning for the competition team! We ask that only those who consider themselves at a high-intermediate to advanced level choose to audition for the competition team. Please come in comfortable (athletic) clothes and dance shoes (dance heels for ladies). Bring plenty of water as you are definitely in for a work out. Please be on time and come ready to work. If you have to show up late to auditions for any reason please make sure to let us know before hand as we will not be letting people who come late without prior notice go through the audition process. Thank you in advance! :) We will start the registration process at 11:00am. Please be there early to fill out paperwork. Dancing will begin at Noon. There is no audition fee.
