At the last 9 years a resident of Koh Pangan, Thailand where he is one of the co-founders of the ecstatic dance community on Koh Phangan. He initiated the vibrant ecstatic dance scene in 2014 at an intimate yoga studio, which has since grown into a major event in Thailand and Southeast Asia. The community now hosts over 1000 people monthly in KPG, showcasing the significant growth and popularity of the ecstatic dance movement. ‎Sunsahy believes in the power of music as a universal language. In ecstatic dance, you move freely through the space leading to a state of trance and ecstasy (hence the name ecstatic). In trance, many dancers find that ecstatic dance brings them into a deep meditative state. The dance floor is a safe space to bring your individual self to the greater connection of the community. A sacred space where is no talking, no shoes, no alcohol or any additives and no judgment, on which we respect each other and ourselves.
