An Evening of Tango: Free Workshop + Milonga

An FREE Evening of Tango with Bulent & Lina Tango ​Bringing a taste of Argentina to Union, Fall for Dance North showcases an evening of tango with local Toronto-based artists Bulent Karabagli and Lina Chan. Beginners and advanced dancers alike are welcome to join a workshop from 7-8pm, followed by a tango milonga from 8-10pm featuring a special performance by Bulent Karabagli and Lina Chan, with live music. Limited seating available on a first-come, first-serve basis. A part of Fall for Dance North Festival's FREE Programming at Union Station. Union Station's West Wing is located just west of the Great Hall from the Front St. entrance of the station and is easily accessible via the Yonge Line on the TTC. ffdnorth.com/union --- Bulent Karabagli + Lina Chan are internationally-renowned Argentine teachers and professional dancers. They are the creative new generation of multiple-style Tango dancers with strong techniques in traditional Argentine tango. Bulent has 28 years of experience teaching and dancing Tango all over the world. Lina has received formal dancing training in ballet since the age of 3 and she decided to focus on Tango as her career. They have performed in Europe, Buenos Aires, Asia as well as many cities the US and Canada, appearing in different festivals and workshop weekends as performers and instructors. Together they worked to build a new and vibrant tango scene in Toronto with new generation of dancers. They are known for their superb techniques, improvisational skills and musicality.
