Known as the most eminent representatives of the so called young tango-de-salon generation, they have combined the greatest traditions with youthful energy and genuine passion. Their style is characterized by lightness and elegance, agility and precision. The tango they dance can be seen at the Buenos Aires milongas. For them, what matters in tango most are feelings and the quality of movement. They both started to dance in their childhood. In 2005, Sebastian won the World Tango Championships. Roxana, having been chosen the best young dancer in 2004, honed her skills in the Tango Styles Academy. So they joined their ways to start a common career back in February 2007. Loved by all and sundry, they are invited to workshops and festivals all over the world, and their presence causes a great commotion even at their native Buenos Aires milongas. Since 2010, they performed in theaters with the Tango Mas Tango Company. They also run their own studio in Buenos Aires, called "Ensueño". A LITTE ABOUT ROXANA SUAREZ: Always elegant and feminine Roxana learned to dance in the Buenos Aires milongas when she was just a child. She maintains a traditional and sober aesthetic, combined with a young and current vision of the salon tango. In her technique workshops she seeks to generate body awareness and explain the sensations and functionality of the movements. It provides students with tools that allow them to adapt and find both their own enjoyment and that of their partners. For eleven years she has traveled the world with her partner Sebastián Achaval, with whom she participates in the most prestigious festivals, giving shows and giving seminars. Roxana has taught at several events that is purely for women’s technique: Mujercitas Tango Festival ~ Buenos Aires 2011 & 2012 , Entre Mujeres ~ Milan 2017, Tango Deluxe ~ Trieste 2016, Buenos Aires 2017, 2018, Lyon 2018 She normally teaches her technique workshops at the festivals she attends with Sebastian such as Torino Tango Festival, Bari Tango Congress, TanGo To Istanbul, Lisbon Tango Festival, to name a few! Deepening in the pillars for the construction of the dance (walk, ochos, turns and changes of direction) we will work the thrusts, the resistances, the changes of weight, the twists and the pivots. In addition there will be small orchestral observations in order to develop a better musical perception and put into practice the changes of dynamics previously explained.
