An Rx Pop-Up Experiment: "Rebecculous Skills"

Have you ever had a social dance and thought “That was an awesome dance, what do I have to do to have that kind of social dance all the time ?” Rx has brought back Rebecca Savoca for the next Pop-Up Experiment: “Rebecculous Skills” where we will be exploring skills that make you an enjoyable social dancer. Where: UOC Mezzanine, 154 E 10th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5T 1Z4 (The room upstairs from the regular social dance venue.) When: June 27, 2026 1 PM: Doors open (Warm-Up) 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM - 1st Half of the session 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM - Break 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM - 2nd Half of the session There are 2 sides to every coin. In West Coast Swing we often focus on competitions, with the other side, social dancing, not receiving the love that it needs. This workshop will focus on the skills that make social dancing enjoyable, regardless of the level. The Workshop level will be “All Levels” however, dancers are expected to be comfortable with the basics and social dancing. You can sign up as a single dancer but if you would like so save a little move we have brought back the "Jedi Pass" so you can sign up with a partner. (You will be expected to dance in the role you sign up as).
