Nerdy Student Patreon Tier (What's Included) Weeks 1 | Topic of the Month: Introduction Each month we pick a WCS technique or concept and describe it thoroughly. We want to make sure you clearly understand the definitions of specific terms, related terms, and common misconceptions because dance language can be a huge point of confusion for dance students. Week 2 | Topic of the Month: Deep Dive This week we dive into the specifics of how to dance the technique of the month correctly, when and how to use it effectively in your dancing, and also common incorrect versions of that technique. We want to empower you to make conscious decisions about your dancing, and fully understanding concepts and techniques is the first step toward accomplishing that. Week 3 | Topic of the Month: Video Analysis Similar to our free Thursday shows, this is where we take a deep dive into the topic of the month, highlighting specifically what to look for when you're watching dance videos. During Week 3 and Week 4 we will be using one video and breaking it apart to analyze the dance (topic of the month) and the music separately for you to see the same video from two different viewpoints. Week 4 | Topic of the Month: Music Analysis Did you know that Alicia is a trained musician and vocalist, and that Cassie is a trained 3D Animator? We use these unique skills to create music animations to help you better understand music theory and musicality, one detailed song analysis at a time.
