Argentine Tango Classes @ La Génesis w/ Julian & Claudia $10 per class www.ramilonga.com Genesis Dance 404 Clement St. (@ 5th Ave.), SF 4:30-5:30pm - The Fundamentals of Tango Rhythm and Motion These classes are designed to introduce the fundamental techniques of all the various styles of Argentine Tango Dance:: 1) Basic daily drills for proper alignment & balance & the bio-mechanics of leading and/or following the building blocks (walking & ochos) 2) becoming sensitive to your partner's movements & the line of dance 3) Creating basic dance sequences to connect to the rhythm and phrase of Argentine Tango music. "Also recommended for the experienced dancers to continue to refine the fundamentals" 5:30-6:30pm - Intermediate Level & Above Topic of the month: TBA La Practica 6-7:30pm (studio sur) Practice simple elegant walks & figure eights, practice for a spectacular performance or explore to create new & innovative sequences to share with old & new friends.
