Learn the essential “giro”—the foundational turn—for leaders and followers. Content: Focus on “ocho”-driven turns (forward and back), axis control, and the leader’s role in guiding the follower’s pivot. Practice with simple 4-count phrasing to a classic Tango beat. Lingo: "Find your “eje” (axis) and lead with intention—turns are the heartbeat of Tango! ➡️08:15PM - 09:00PM Part 2: Complex Turns and Musicality – The Art of the Slow Giro: Take your turns up a notch with intricate variations and soulful timing—dance the music, not just the steps. Content: Introduce the slow turn (giro lento), double-time pivots, and how to sync with Tango’s rhythmic pauses (compás).
