Creative, she never stops looking for discoveries, new inspiration and possibilities in her regular practice, and in her numerous dance trips over Europe and to Buenos Aires. She shares the essence of those experiences in several dance schools in Göteborg. In her classes, she spreads the same feeling to others as she herself experiences it on the dance floor, with a strong focus on connection with the partner, and body awareness. Abdel Cuauhtli is a professional tango dancer trained in México and Buenos Aires with internationally renowned teachers, among them: Gustavo Naveira y Giselle Anne, Corina de la Rosa y Julio Balmaceda, Jonathan Saavedra y Clarisa Aragón, Hernán Brusa y Natalia Cristóbal, Pablo Inza y Sofía Saborido, Juan Martín Carrara y Stefanía Colina. He has been part of Íntimo Tango, Fenómeno Escénico, Fuera de Centro, iO Tango Artes Escénicas, Devorarte, Esther Soler and Malka companies. During 2016 he made two tours in Europe to share his knowledge through workshops and private lessons in Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Czech Republic and United Kingdom. Abdel also studied Visual and Graphic Arts, Photography and Documentary Film. He has teached arts in elementary school and participated in the making of 8 documentaries, among them ‘Axolote’ in 2014. He keeps working in Mexico City and traveling to Buenos Aires and Montevideo to improve his own dance.
