ARISE-Women's V-Day Conscious Dance Event with Liat Lev & Michelle Mahrer🧡

Dear Women, You are warmly invited to gather and dance with us (and the other One Billion Women Rising!) this February 14th, V-Day—in a beautiful celebration of unity and empowerment for all women, everywhere. A stellar team of women is joining forces to create this gorgeous event for the women of our region: *Liat Lev (Heart Dance/Open Floor) *Michelle Mahrer (Radiance Dance/5Rhythms) *Musician Lulu Prem (Sonic Medicine) *Freer Bonne (Embodied Art Installation) A percentage of the funds raised on the night will be donated to the Women’s Village Collective, a local organisation dedicated to helping women (and their children) secure pathways to long-term, safe, affordable housing. Together, we will weave a sensitive, strong, and nourishing evening of dance, movement, and music designed to inspire, uplift, support, and celebrate. Our intention is to dance in honour of ourselves and each other, while also connecting with and supporting the global movement of women rising in sovereignty, safety, and peace. Michelle and Liat will guide the conscious dance component of the evening. Lulu will offer live music and song, while Freer is creating a gorgeous sacred installation to inspire and bless the space. She is passionate about creating safe spaces for women to deepen connection to themselves and their own healing forces through embodied movement. She is a pioneer of Conscious Dance in Australia starting the first Conscious Dance in Melbourne with Liat Lev in 2000 which they ran together for several years. Passionate about the healing and transformative power of dance she founded Radiance Dance 5Rhythms, a vibrant dance community in Sydney 15 years ago offering classes, workshops, retreats and 1:1 sessions.
