This June 2018 Caminito Amigo is proud to host Armando Orzuza & Nuria Martinez in the Washington DC area.
These workshops are for Intermediate to Advanced Argentine Tango students.
Workshop 3 | 2 pm - 3:30 pm
Milonga & the Embrace: Different rhythms in Milonga: lisa, contratiempo, and traspié. Understanding the connection through the embrace.
Workshop 4 | 3:30 pm - 5 pm
Tango Salon Fantasia: Complex Figures and understanding Pugliese's music.
Farewell Asado & Practica follows from 5 - 9 pm. RSVP Required.

Armando has been seen as a dancer in the Broadway show of “Tango Passion” in New York and Miami, in the promotion of the album "Tango" by Julio Iglesias, as principal dancer in the movie “Assassination Tango” directed by Robert Duvall, in NYC at “Jazz at Lincoln Center” with Avantango, in the Opera “Y Borges Cuenta Que...” directed by Luis Bacalov, with Jon Secada in the Broadway-style show of “We” directed by Neil Goldberg, in “Tango Nuevo Cabaret” (Canada, Buenos Aires, USA) and the show “C’est Rouge” at the Faena Theater.
Nuria's first international appearance was at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the production of “West Side Story”. In NYC, she performed as a modern dancer for the Dance on Camera Film Festival, the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, and the NY State Theater.
