For 10 days we offer a program of community, dance intensives, contact improvisation, jams, opening cacao ceremony, energetic practices, meditation, artistic expression, nature immersion, live music, silence and more... The space is open for everyone, with or without experience. As individuals we have the tendency to lose ourselves when relating with another. In order to keep our personal truth, it requires a certain level of (self)understanding and integrity. From there we can flow naturally into integrity in our relation with the external. Seeing me and seeing the other, within a safe container. Dance can be a great tool for bringing people together, yet still allowing to experience individuation. You can register for one day only, but we ask you to come the night before. There are no half day contributions. We advice to arrive the night before your first participation day. This night is included. !! ~Register on time ~ LIMITED places available~ !! ◾ FULL 10 -DAYS - IMMERSION: Regular: 400* Volunteer: 250* (+) ◾ WEEK: 45*/day ◾ WEEKEND: 100* (+)We are looking for max. 6 General volunteers and 6 Kitchen volunteers that would like to support in the preparation and the hosting of the Arrabida Dance Gathering. This role requires responsibility, commitment, flexibility and presence from the ♡, to hold space and help with: - Cosmic Kitchen (supporting the kitchen-focalizers, wild herb picking, etc) - Water Fairy (making herbal teas, lemon water, care for waterstations) - Kids Area (playing, activities, wild herb picking, create own world) - Housekeeping (beautifying the area, cleaning, recycling) - Program support (timekeeper, wake-up calls, preparing meditation) - Preparation and Aftercare of the space. The volunteers are supported by the Gatherings Focalizers. You give a max. 4 hours per day, so you will have enough free time to join at least 2 programmed activities per day. The meals are with everybody together. !! We ask you only to apply as a volunteer if you are available to participate the full 10 days !! » CHILDREN Children are welcome, as long as the parents take full responsibility to maintain the space/ws secure, clean and tidy as well as respecting the teachers work during ws sessions. » ACCOMMODATION There is the possibility to sleep in tents with mattresses or in dormitories: participants choose sleeping place in order of arrival. Bring your own sleeping bag, own pillow and extra blanket! In case you travel light, we have some extra spare needs available: tent, mat, pillow, blanket and eventually, a sleeping bag. To be able to reach high quality of deep work, we take care of enough night-rest and sleep for ourselves and each other, so we can be fresh and crispy during the day. We invite you to respect the silence during the nights: from 23h00 until breakfast-time. » FOOD We offer vegan nutritious food made with lots of Love. Meals are all included in the contribution and they are prepared together with the main-guidance of the focalizing kitchen crew. She dedicates most of her time to artistic creation, teaching, guiding and research in holistic health, between Europe and India. She graduated in “Escola Superior de Dança” and “Escola Superior de Educação” in Portugal.
