Koh Phangan Island, Thailand 10 March - 7 April 2022 art continuum nomadic residency program: "Composing while Improvising & Making Spaces for Collaborative Actions" - four week multidisciplinary art laboratory facilitated by Sasha Dodo and Dolores Dewhurst-Marks art continuum residency is designed for international artistic exchange, development and production of art, focused in fields of dance improvisation, performance, poetry and film. The residency is a supportive and inspiring environment for emerging artists and artists searching for new perspectives, multidisciplinary experimentation and artistic development in collaboration. It supports the process of clarifying artistic vision and mastering its articulation. It gathers people of different backgrounds and nationalities, both amateur and professional. The program contains long and short durational workshops, projects and laboratories based on the art continuum method. The method is framework for artistic development, ongoing research of making collaborative multidisciplinary space for artistic exchange, emphasising listening, practices of attention, improvisation, inquiry and being with nature. Studio hours will be available for small group/private research & practice. This four week art laboratory is not open for partial participation. The program is designed for those who are willing and available to commit to its entirety, and support group process. This means coming on time and staying till the end of each session. Specifically the residency program is often evolving and adjusts towards the occurring group & individual processes. If your own schedule is not flexible and you won’t be able to follow possible adjustments and additions to the program, better to join more flexible events upcoming. For those who have participated in previous residency program, it is important to anticipate that this time it will be different.
