ArtsPark Live: The Big Swing

The Big Swing is back! The largest gathering of the swing dance community in South Florida brings together beginners and professionals to have a grand old time in the beautiful Hollywood ArtsPark. The Big Swing will feature two incredible bands on the same stage: The French Horn Collective and The Swing All-Stars. They will fill the air with music... and the floor with dancers from all over South Florida! The French Horn Collective is an energetic band that performs Gypsy Jazz, Hot Swing, and original French music. Led by Parisian musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer, singer and songwriter Vincent Raffard, the diverse international group features singer Shira Lee and a rotating cast of highly talented musicians. The Swing All Stars is a swing dance band featuring a the top professional vocalists and jazz musicians in South Florida. Led by bassist and musical director Paul Shewchuk, The Swing All Stars perform a high energy set of the great swing classics. Your host for the evening will be 4 x World Champion Swing Dancer Yuval Hod from All Swing Miami, who will lead dance lessons and demonstrations along with dancers from South Florida. Come dressed in your favorite swing-era style!
