Through the art of movement and stillness we will co-create a transcendental experience through Yoga, Sound Healing, Contact Improvisation and Ecstatic Dance 💃 What is Contact Improvisation? This form of dance was created by Steve Paxton whom aimed to push the boundaries of the dance world. The practice intergrates martial arts, modern dance and somatic practices to produce an intuitive flow and counter balance experience. This art works on intuition, stability, connection, and proprioception. we will be exploring this art through proprioception, eye contact, release techniques and free flow.
