No registration fees required This competition is open to all participants Each team must consist of only 2 members and of the opposite gender. Competitors must prepare their own music, choreography and costumes. Length of song to be minimum 1min 30sec and not exceeding 3 min. Decision of the judges will be deemed final and indisputable. Organizer reserves the rights to use any pictures, footages and choreography of the competition for future marketing purposes. Organizer reserves the rights to make any changes with regards to the competition and event. All competitors are only required to prepare ONE choreography In event if registration exceed quota, there will be a close door preliminary round. It is mandatory for participants to wear dancing shoes while performing , Ladies to wear proper heels . Dancing bare foot or jazz shoes will result in loss of points All Competitors can use unlimited lifts or tricks as a complimentary to your dance routine. However there will be no score segments awarded under Lifts/Tricks Any of the following would be considered as lifts or tricks: a) Needs elevated support from the partner to execute. b) Has both feet off the floor and is assisted to execute. c) The partner’s body is lifted above shoulder level. d) In one lift the partner is allowed to be in air for a maximum of 4 bars of music. e) Dips and poses will not come under the category of lifts. No props, removal of any items on your costumes (with deliberateness) allow Competitors must use strictly Salsa music (Salsa category) or Bachata music (Bachata category) for their routines Judging Criteria Timing, Rhythm & Musicality (10) Technique (10) Showmanship (5) Choreography & Creativity (5) Partnering (5) Authenticity (5)
