AsiAfrica KWABO Award Celebration and NY Party 2018

In cooperation with the Embassy of Benin Republic in China, covering Thailand, we're happy to bring you a very unique *AsiAfrica* or *AfricAsia* Experience in Bangkok! KWABO means *Welcome* and *Peace* in the language of Benin Republic known as *Fongbe*! It's the equivalent of the Aché Yoruba and in Cuba! The concept also refers to the female Deity of Rivers and lakes that provides all the blessings that only the female element can offer, hence the symbolic *offering* gesture picture in the Trophy and appears in many dance moves in Africa and Cuba (Rumba). This event is a symbolic celebration of the "KWABO AWARD" proudly received on behalf of AsiAfrica Foundation! We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude for this prestigious recognition. The welcome cocktail and networking (upon private invitation sent by pm) will give the opportunity to interact with Embassy officers and people interested in doing business with Africa. Jimmy Yoon of DC Style Salsa Academy will give a *Classic Mambo* workshop to share how to always look and feel good when dancing to Mambo or Salsa music! We also want to bring you a taste of Thai culture with some surprise performances. You will enjoy Excellent music by the Award winner himself known by nickname of *Dr. Salsa*. The selection will include: - Salsa classic/ Cuban Salsa / Son/ Modern Salsa (you will discover the latest album of Tito Rodriguez Jr, the son of legendary Tito Rodríguez)/ Guaguanco/ Afro beats and Afro-House (for the first time at Zaks) / Kizomba (the finest)/ Bachata and Chachacha...
