As we prepare for our next cycle of progressive Brazilian Zouk classes, we're holding an assessment night to help place you in the right class! ๐Ÿ“… Thursday, July 31st, 2025 โฐ 7PM - 8:30 PM ๐Ÿ“ CASA, 4025 Steele St, Denver, CO 80216. Your ticket includes access to the social! More Details โฌ‡โฌ‡โฌ‡ How it works: ๐Ÿ”ธ The Assessments will be done simultaneously with the social in another room ๐Ÿ”ธ We'll call the people who want to be assessed in the order of when you've arrived and checked in. Each person will dance with one of our instructors; demonstrating the moves outlined in our curriculum. ๐Ÿ”ธ At the end of the dances you'll receive verbal feedback on what you are doing well and what you can improve on, as well as which upcoming classes you can sign up for. Although your strengths and places for improvement will be outlined, this time is not meant for instruction. PRICE: $18, includes social Why would I need an assessment? ๐Ÿ”น You are applying for the Gui weekender ๐Ÿ”น You want to test into level 200 Cohort ๐Ÿ”นYou want to test into 300 Cohort ๐Ÿ”น You want to understand the gaps in your learning You do NOT need a social for: -The first 3 months of level 100 -Any Zouk Curious Class FAQ Q: How long should I be in any given level? A: We recommend students new to dancing cycle through level 100 & 200 2-3 times in order to integrate the information. We encourage you to dive deep into the basic classes in order to have a strong foundation. Q: How can I prepare? A: We will post the assessment rubric in the whatsapp chat, if you are not in this group reach out to staff to obtain it for your review. You can also take a private lesson to prepare!
