ATA's re-opening milonga

When: Sunday, February 5 from 4:00-7:00 pm Where: Lloyd Shaw Dance Center 5506 Coal Ave SE, Alb NM 87108 (near San Mateo & Central) in Albuquerque.* DJ: Richard Womack Price: Still only $5! (Cash only please.) (Dep. on attendance, there may be more ATA's this year, every so often. But not monthly.) ATA's milongas are “mixed music” -- a mix of traditional/Golden Era (no more than 1/3), alternative, and Nuevo — DJ’s choice! Shorter tandas for more turnover. Cortinas that don't leave you guessing. ATA's milongas are relaxed and informal, welcoming all styles of dancing and all kinds of music. (Dance what you hear; dance what you feel. Pls move any non-progressive dance like WCS, NC2, rumba, to the center and out of line-of-dance.) Light snacks and (maybe) drink provided. Please BYOW (Bring Your Own Water.)
