August Thursdays - Swing dance tasters and social dancing

On the four Thursday evenings of August, we'll have taster classes for you followed by social dancing! The evenings will start with an introductory class in either Balboa, Blues, Collegiate Shag or Solo Jazz. Thereafter, we'll have faster and slower Jazz music for our social dancing, so that you can dance Lindy Hop, Blues, Charleston, Collegiate Shag, Solo Jazz, Slow Balboa, Balboa and more. The taster classes will be Balboa with Anne and Carsten on 6th August, Collegiate Shag with Murray and Ruth on 13th August, Solo Jazz with Sash on the 20th August and Blues with George and Greg on 27th August. These August events will take place at Lifecare, in Stockbridge. Some of you will know this place as the regular venue of our friends at the Edinburgh Swing Dance Society which are having their summer break then.
