She is a certified yoga instructor who holds a degree in psychology. Building on years of experience guiding the body through movement, she has developed a new approach: using the connection of breath and touch to explore deeper levels of the Self. A believer in movement as a healing modality, Shani uses Brazilian Zouk and mindful movement to encourage further understanding of ourselves, our connection with others, and to awaken our communication with our higher Self. She creates and facilitates safe spaces where people can grow, heal and transform. Gui Prada ( special guest) Gui teaches Zouk with the idea of partner dancing as a true therapeutic experience, having dancing in close embrace and the basics as the focus point. Gui was able to develop and improve this concept through workshops called “The Universe Behind the Hug”, Parts I and II, and Finding Zouk, which visited around 15 cities around the US. Gui is based in Washington DC, US, developing the local community with regular, weekly and progressive classes. He became a reference in the execution of clean, comfortable fundamentals and its understanding of close connection, both from a physical and mental perspectives. Evelyn Magyari (special Guest ) According to Evelyn, dancing Zouk is, "Surrendering in the moment with a balanced mental and physical state, combining creativity through inner-beauty, while existing in harmony with the music”. Evelyn embodies a unique approach to dance - an art of moving, expressing and interpreting the music internally, and from your heart. Her talents inspire dancers around the world to express their dance from their souls. 15 years as a professional Zouk dancer, Evelyn is still sharing her love and passion for the dance - now gratefully combining the beauty of being in love with her forever thankful, inspirational and beloved husband Derrick, who has also been breakdancing for over 20 years. Pamela (Medicine Woman) Certified in Biomagnetism, breath work, and yoga therapies, Pamela began her shamanic journey in 2006 with the church of Santo Daime. Throughout her practice she has used a unique blend of music and sacred medicines to facilitate the healing of thousands of individuals around the world. Through her compassion, strength, and understanding, she creates an environment where people can truly heal. She has received training from the Red Path, vision quests, as well as from the Shipibo Masters in Peru, and has facilitated at the Sacred Valley Tribe Center for several years, using plant medicines to heal veterans affected by PTSD and people recovering from addiction. Ivan Jagdish (Sound Healer) A master sound healer and facilitator of sacred medicine. Ivan has dedicated the past decade of his life to healing others through ancient medicine, sacred ceremonies, and sound therapy.
