Awaken Your Inner Power: A Day of Breath, Dance, and Sound Join us for an immersive one-day retreat, co-organized by Ecstatic Grooves and Fabio Freddi, where you'll journey through breath, movement, and sound to connect deeply with yourself and others. The day begins with a Wim Hof Method Workshop led by Fabio Freddi, a practitioner with over 15 years of experience in personal growth and healing. Dive into breathwork and cold exposure techniques to unlock your physical and mental potential, building resilience, strength, and clarity. After a nourishing lunch break, the energy will shift into a state of free-flowing expression through Ecstatic Dance, facilitated by Fabio and curated by DJ Holly Fontanelli. This powerful experience allows you to express yourself freely through movement, guided by the rhythm of the music. We will close the day with a deeply relaxing Sound Bath led by Fabio Freddi, followed by a Sharing Circle for reflection and connection. 🌟 What to Bring / Prepare? 🌟 To fully enjoy the experience, we recommend: Wear comfortable, loose clothing for movement. Bring a water bottle, towel, and a change of clothes for the cold exposure. Also bring flip-flops! For the Wim Hof Method workshop, please arrive with an open mind and a willingness to step out of your comfort zone. When you subscribe, you will receive information to prepare for the experience. Fabio Freddi, WHM L2 Instructor, DJ, and Ecstatic Dance Facilitator Fabio has been working with people of all ages and backgrounds for over 15 years. He is a professional educator, transpersonal counselor, and facilitator of personal growth groups and conscious movement events, including Ecstatic Dance. Fabio's journey has taken him to various countries, where he studied shamanism and Biotransenergetics, a discipline that blends transpersonal psychology with ancient wisdom. Fabio is a certified Level 2 Wim Hof Method instructor: he has been practicing the WHM since 2020, and his dedication to cold exposure has allowed him to guide others in discovering their inner strength through breath and nature. She currently co-runs a monthly Ecstatic Dance in Bologna with her partner. Holly works full-time in the music industry and volunteers for an NGO. She is also a part-time student of social sciences. Holly is a wellness advocate and environmentalist. She enjoys reading, connecting with nature, yoga, and meditation. Holly’s rich life experiences, including time spent living in Brazil, deeply inform her music selection, bringing a soulful and dynamic energy to her DJ sets. She is also a proud mother of two wonderful children. Felippe Fontanelli, Founder of Ecstatic Grooves, Event Facilitator Felippe is not only a co-organizer of this retreat and one of the founders of Ecstatic Grooves but also an advocate for sustainability, equity, and innovation in the food industry. With nearly two decades of experience in the food sector, Felippe is a passionate promoter of plant-based food systems and environmental change. Through his work with Ecstatic Grooves, he extends his commitment to a positive impact on the community by fostering conscious activities where people can reconnect with themselves and nature through movement, breath, and sound. Felippe took a facilitators course with Dance the Medicine to lead and facilitate conscious dance events. Useful Information for Getting There: By Car: Exit the Sasso Marconi Bologna motorway (if you have the Telepass, use Sasso Marconi Sud). To get there, enter "via Pontecchio 6 Sasso Marconi" into Google Maps. You will find yourself in front of a church. ONLY when you are there, enter "via Preda 3 Sasso Marconi" into the navigator. The road is always straight. You will travel 2 km on an uphill paved road and then 1 km on a dirt road (very quiet and almost flat). Do not go all the way to number 3; stop on the left side of the road where you see other cars parked and colorful flags. From the car to the yurta, it’s a 150-meter walk on the right side of the road, always following the flags.
