I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the artists and friends who volunteer their services, share this event to help to this cause. Special thanks to Kizombing Yourife team from Paris and all the people who are mobilizing, donating and helping with their services for Baby Sandro appeal. Here is my story: On Christmas Eve I received a phone call from my father in tone of despair giving me the sad news that his expecting partner was rushed to hospital... after a few complications, they performed an emergency cesarean and my baby brother Sandro was born in Mozambique with only 26 weeks (6 months). Unfortunately public hospitals in Mozambique don’t have the means to care for situations like this, so Sandro is being treated in a private clinic with a excellent team of doctors and nurses, however, due to the 24hour care this comes with a very high cost of €1600 A Day!!! The time Sandro will need to remain in incubator it’s not been determined yet, as he still unable to breath or eating naturally yet and weights less than 1kg (2lb) which means he is too fragile to be transferred to a different country. Although this is a personal case happening to one of my own I urge you to remember Sandro is just a child that happen to be born at the wrong place and wrong time... As the oldest son (and brother) I feel is my duty to cover this urgent costs as my father and family alone cannot afford it. With the help of true friends and humble hearts we managed to came up with day full of entertainment and surprises! All the odds indicated that Sandro wasn't going to make it, but Sandro is a fighter, and he's not giving up, and I won't either... Thank you all once again, Hugo (Dj Hugo Boss) P.S. : Dear friends, Unfortunately Sandro has passed away. He had an infection on his lungs and he did not survive it. After some thinking, I decided to go ahead with the event and fundrasing because even though he is gone the Clinic's bill still has to be paid. What I will do is change the tittle from "save a life" to "remember a life" and inform everybody that if they want to donate they will Not be donating for Sandro to live but for his family to pay the bill of his 15 days in private care. I will find out Friday the 9th the total of the bill and the total that me as his Older Brother have the duty to raise somehow. To those that donated, I have already sent u a private email or message and if I didn't be sure that I AM OFFERING A REFUND if you / they wish to because I dont want people to think or spread the word that I created something fake for my own benefit.
