Bacha-Tango Workshop

Bacha-Tango Are you ready to learn new styles of contemporary club dances? Join us for this special workshop fusing two of the hottest dances today. "Bacha-Tango" This fascinating style of dance combines the sensuality of Caribbean bachata with the creativity and playfulness of Argentine tango. The event will be segmented into 3 different classes, catering to all levels from true beginners to advanced levels. Level 1: Intro to Bacha-Tango. This class will introduce the concept of musicality and its application on the dance floor. We will explore ideas of lead and follow and target basic patterns. Level 2: Exploring Spaces. This class will have more emphasis on the technique of leading and will introduce games and tricks applicable to basic patterns. Level 3: Embellishments and Games: This class will explore different perspectives of connections. We will learn to play with the dynamic of axis and offer ideas of decorations within the patterns. Partners are encouraged, but not required. Comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear are strongly advised.
