We're back again with our second event. Bachata Amantes exists to help you fall in love with bachata, and to offer you some of Melbourne's best social classes and dancing. We hope to make Bachata Amantes feel like your second home, a place you look forward to coming to every fortnight. BACHATA CLASSES FROM 7:00pm SOCIAL DANCING 9:30pm-1:00am 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 OUR CLASSES FOR AUGUST 23 (these will change monthly so please always check): 7:00-7:30pm FREE ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS (BEGINNERS: 0-3 months experience) Never experienced bachata before? Or only been to a few lessons? If you have under three month's experience in bachata, we'd love you to come along to our free absolute beginners class, where you're sure to find your newest addiction. You'll learn the basics of bachata that will give you the confidence to get on the social dance floor! 7:30-8:30pm BACHATA MODERNA WITH KRISTIAN AND GRACE (OPEN LEVEL: 3 months+ experience advised) Join Kristian and Grace for an open level class where they'll focus on what's required to be a good lead and follow in bachata by emphasising technique, connection, and adjustment. Their knowledge will equip you with the skills to dance with anyone and in different styles. 8:30-9:30pm BACHATA SENSUAL WITH KRISTIAN AND ISABELLA (INTERMEDIATE LEVEL: 6-9+ months advised) Join Kristian and Isabella in their intermediate bachata sensual class, where they'll focus on leading, connecting, and listening within bachata sensual body movements, isolations, and how to flow with confidence. Bachata originated in the Dominican Republic and then had a different evolution (bachata sensual) from Spain. It's a funky, street Latin partner dance with multiple styles, variations, and influences. HOW MANY TIMES CAN I COME TO YOUR FREE BEGINNERS CLASS? As many as you'd like! :-) WHO IS BACHATA AMANTES? Bachata Amantes is created and run by Carl, Grace, Isabella, and Kristian OUR INTENTION Our intention and philosophy is to create an open and friendly environment for people to enjoy street latin dancing by providing quality classes, the chance to socialize and really connect with others, and to improve on their dance skills. Also to bring greater unity to the Latin dance scene, not only between different schools and events but across styles.
