BACHATA KING COMPETITION (SOCIAL EDITION) The Bachata King Festival is promising to bring a new concept of competitions in the Bachata scene. This year we will focus on the social edition of our competition. REGISTRATION All the dancers can register for the competition by sending an email to [email protected] On the email you will need to type your name and your partner’s name. The registration fee is only 15€ per person and you will be asked to pay it on the registration desk the day of the event where you will receive your number and a detailed description of the competition. ⚠️INFORMATION⚠️ To begin with, the couples will dance one song to warm up (this dance will not judged). For the first phase of the competition, the competing couples will be announced and asked to come up to the stage in groups and dance one song which will be randomly picked from our list (the number of couples in each group depend on the total number of the competitors). Half of the couples of the group will qualify to the next phase. On the second phase there will be 3 smaller groups. 2 couples from each group will qualify to the semi-final. We will have 6 couples on the semi-final where the 3 of them will be eliminated. Only the best 3 couples will make it to the final and they will win the awards and trophies. ⚖️ RULES ⚖️ 1. Lifts will not be allowed in the competition for health and safety issues. At least one foot should have contact with the floor during the competition. . 2. Any tricks are allowed so be creative and Impress the judges and the audience!! «PRIZES AND AWARDS» The winning couple will receive the biggest prize but before that they will sit on their throne and be crowned Bachata King and Bachata Queen.
