Bachata Musicality - 101 & 201

Elevate your dancing by understanding the music you dance to better 🙂 When we dance we illustrate what the music tells us to do. Multiple elements in Bachata music can help you be really musical and adapt your moves and energy depending on what the song tells you. We will go through: - The instruments and their rhythms and how it can help you find the one to dance on a timing by choice and not by luck :) - The different parts of a Bachata song, how to identify them and match them with different energy and feelings so you can be one with the music There will be a balance between theory and application. We will not be learning patterns here but more identifying what can be highlighted in various song sections and giving examples you can feel free to use or simply use your own. This is not just for leaders, followers have a huge responsibility in musicality and illustrating the music in partnered dance. The only way to really groove together to a song is if both parties can truly understand the music 🙂 Cost: $30 per person $50 for 2 workshops
