Bachata Musicality - Adapting to Timing Changes

On Saturday, July 27th, join Paige and Stephane and learn how to get musical with bachata! Bachata musicians love playing around with musical phrasing and switching up the timing of their songs, much to the delight of experienced dancers and the frustration of less experienced bachateros and bachateras. In this workshop, we'll delve into how to spot timing changes when they happen, what moves you can use to adapt to those changes, and how to train yourself to start anticipating changes in timing in order to make your dancing that much more musical. ================== This workshop is included in your Monthly Pass or Full Summer Pass. Drop-ins are also welcome ($20 +HST) provided there is space available. This workshop is limited to 30 participants. Priority will be given to pass holders, then the remaining space will be open for drop-ins 10 minutes before the start of class. Get to the studio early to secure your spot!
