BACHATA MUSICALITY WORKSHOPS These workshops are theory classes with some dancing excercises. Expand your Bachata knowledge beyond the dance floor. See things a musician sees, feel the instruments and their rhythms!. WORKSHOP 1: DANCING TO BACHATA INSTRUMENTS - Did you know that majority of bachateros dance to the rhythm of the Bongos? But there are a lot of other rhythms that you can dance to and still keep your Bachata timing. (1 hour) WORKSHOP 2: BACHATA MUSICALITY Do you have problems finding the 1 and 5 of the music? This theory class that goes over how Bachata music is created, so you can find the build-ups and the breaks of the music. A must do for all Bachateros! Both classes will help you improve your dancing in ways unimaginable ABOUT JUAN RUIZ Juan is one of the Bachata pioneers of the world, and the person responsible to starting the Bachata movement in Australia. Juan is well respected for his social dance skills. Juan has been teaching these musicality workshops for a long time, and he is known for having a very easy method and structure for teaching this material.
