Bachata Sensual & Lambazouk Workshops

Come join us on Saturday and Sunday to get introduced to these beautiful fun dance with instructors Crystal Bedford and Brad Meccia. Bachata Sensual is a slower, more sensual version of bachata, and LambaZouk is a faster, more upbeat dance than traditional style zouk which takes much of its technique from lambada, the dance which inspired zouk. Saturday: Bacahta Sensual with Crystal Bedford of Dance Konnection Konnect to your partner and the music in a whole new way! Sensual Bachata is a beautiful blending of body isolations to Modern / Remix bachata music. In this Workshop we will be going over foundations for isolations (and how they differ from and are similar to Zouk) we will also be working on some modern patterns, partner konnection and how to keep your partner's comfort in mind while dancing a more sensual Style. Time: 2:00 - 4:00 Price: $30 (Receive $5 off for sharing the event) Sunday: LambaZouk Have you seen people dancing LambaZouk with giant smiles on their faces as they step on the quick and fly across the floor, arms out stretched like a happy airplane? It's as fun as it looks and you can learn the basics in this workshop. Topics will cover diagonal step, timing, turns, and boneca both in contact and in WiFi leads. The last hour will work on more advanced topics like pião and frango assado.
