SMS YOUR DETAILS TO 0401 811 722 include your name and style you wish to enter THE RULES: 1. Songs are chosen from a hat (all tracks will be mid speed) 2. Competitors dance for just under 1 minute 3. All competitions are to dance 100% Freestyle 4. A panel of judges who are active in the local Afro Latin + Brazilian dance scene will score points out of 10 5. Crowd response will also be taken into consideration 6. Competitors will be scored on - Flavour / Sabor Musicality Timing Execution of moves Connection (Partnered styles) + Confidence (Soloists) 7. The top 3 highest scoring competitors make it into the Grand Finale on Sunday 21 July 8. The soloist or couple with highest score during their heat wins $100 cash on the night 9. This is a fun, friendly, spontaneous social dance competition. Competitors enter as themselves and are not representing any particular studio or dance organisation. 10. This is a not for profit event and entry into competition is FREE and entry into event is FREE 11. Non sportsmanlike comments and attitudes will not be tolerated, we ask you support and applaud all competitors with respect. 12.
