We’re excited to announce a fresh new format for our Bachata Thursdays — designed to help every dancer progress faster, train smarter, and enjoy the journey even more. Whether you’re taking your very first steps or already dancing socially every week, we’ve now structured the night into 4 clear levels across 2 class slots, so you can get the most out of your training. 💃 NEW CLASS STRUCTURE 🕢 19:30 – 20:30 🟢 Beginners – taught by DFL Team 🔵 Intermediate – taught by Alberto & Jolie 🕣 20:30 – 21:30 🟠 Improvers – taught by DFL Team 🔴 Advanced (NEW!) – taught by Alberto & Jolie This means more focused teaching, better progression between levels, and the right challenge for every dancer. After classes, we continue the night with our amazing: 🎉 Social dancing until 23:45 🎉 Prices: 1 class - £8 (£6 for students) 2 classes - £12 (£10 for students) Social - £3 Expect a mix of Sensual Bachata & Bachata Moderna, with a strong focus on: ✨ Partner connection ✨ Body isolation ✨ Musicality & flow 🚫 No partner required — come solo and we’ll rotate throughout class. 👨‍🏫 INSTRUCTORS Alberto Fernandez Vadillo Alberto began his dance journey 12 years ago in Nottingham and has trained across multiple congresses and social events around Europe. He brings high energy, passion, and a deep love for social dancing, with a focus on connection and musicality. Jolie Sunshine Jolie started dancing at the age of 4 with a background in professional Latin ballroom and street dance. Since 2014 she has focused on salsa and bachata, travelling across Europe to train with top artists. Based in Leeds since 2017, she is known for her high-quality teaching and passion for bachata social dancing.
