Bachata Workshop 2 with Amanda Hawley of Todo Latino Dance Company Continuing with bachata, a beautiful dance enjoyed all over the world to the distinct and infectious rhythms of bachata music. Amanda will take you back through the basics of Bachata Moderna/Authenic style and build further on them, so that you can gain more confidence and enjoy dancing this style of bachata socially. About Amanda: Amanda is an Award Winning Teacher of Salsa & Bachata based in the East Midlands. She is an accomplished dancer, performer, choreographer & promoter. Known for her excellent standard of teaching Bachata & Salsa, She has taught throughout the U.K at the major Congresses Amanda has an ability to teach the core techniques and methods for dancing Salsa, Bachata & Merengue. Her technical approach and developed understanding of teaching and learning methods results in immediate positive effects on the dance skills of people who attend her workshops, be aware she sometimes uses props!! Her lessons are fun and productive which is great combination!!! Amanda has studied various styles of Latin dance, She has regularly visited the Dominican Republic to study with Champion Salsa & Bachata dancers, thus resulting in her having a highly developed knowledge and style in authentic Bachata rosa, campo & street, Merengue and a fusion style of Latin Salsa incorporating aspects of Cuban, Puerto Rican & Colombia.. High energy & fun.... The workshop is open to all levels including beginner cross-body dancers, from those who have never tried bachata before, to those who want to refresh their existing skills, so please join us whatever your level of experience!
