Bachata Workshop with World Bachata Champion, Mireille Ruiz 2 hours & 2 levels (beginner and intermediate) Beginner Bachata Workshop 12:30-1:30pm: You will learn or review the bachata basics with an original flavor, bachata hips movements, body isolations (arms, shoulders, torso), basic dance techniques, beginner bachata footwork, bachata partner work (learn how to have a good connection to lead and follow bachata fancy footwork and turns). If you think you want to continue and learn more complicated steps.... Intermediate Bachata Workshop 1:30-2:30pm: Learn fast, advanced bachata footwork, triple and syncopated steps, advanced partner work and techniques; a high energy class. Prices: One workshop: $15.00 Two workshops: $25.00 About Mireille Ruiz: Well-known bachata performer, instructor and dancer. She has been teaching and performing in the most important dance festivals and congresses around USA, such as SF Salsa Congress, SF Bachata Festival, Seattle, San Diego, Hawaii, and Los Angeles.
