Bachata Workshop with Amanda Hawley plus Guest DJs Martinez & Royce!

Hello Dancers! We are so excited to bring a feast of Bachata to Preston with the amazing Amanda Hawley who will be taking us for 4 fantastic hours of workshops! The workshops will be from 2pm to 4pm, with an hour break from 4pm to 5pm, and then 5pm to 7pm, followed by an evening of practising our newly learned Bachata moves until after 11pm! For our evening party, we will be welcoming the gents from Latin Caliente Jerry David DJ Royce De Latin Caliente DJ-Royce De Latin-Caliente and Martin Martínez Dj-Martinez El-Fuego who will play the best in Bachata, with a sprinkle of Salsa and Kizomba to keep things interesting! We will also be celebrating THREE BIRTHDAYS: Elizabeth, Fazz and Bilal with a huge Brazilian Cake! We hope you can join us for our celebrations! She is an accomplished dancer, performer, choreographer and promoter. Known for her excellent standard of teaching Bachata & Salsa, She has taught throughout the U.K at the major Congresses Amanda has an ability to teach the core techniques and methods for dancing Salsa, Bachata and Merengue. Her technical approach and developed understanding of teaching and learning methods results in immediate positive effects on the dance skills of people who attend her workshops, be aware she sometimes uses props!! Her lessons are fun and productive which is great combination!!! Amanda has studied various styles of Latin dance, She has regularly visited the Dominican Republic to study with Champion Salsa and Bachata dancers, thus resulting in her having a highly developed knowledge and style in authentic Bachata rosa, campo and street, Merengue and a fusion style of Latin Salsa incorporating aspects of Cuban, Puerto Rican and Colombia.. This workshop focuses on the fundamentals of Bachata - balance, frame, leading and following techniques, musicality movement and history - predominantly technique based with practice in Authentic and Modern Bachata, this will NOT be a Dominican Republic Bachata crazy footwork workshop!
