Whether you're brand new to the dance or an experienced Bachater@ ready to refine your style, there’s something for you. Take your bachata to the next level! 📚 Workshop Schedule Workshop 1 – 11:00–11:55 Workshop 2 – 12:00–12:55 Workshop 3 – 13:00–13:55 Hangout & Open Dance Floor – 13:55–16:00 This is your chance to meet and mingle across levels. Beginners and experienced dancers share the floor—practice, play, or enjoy the vibe with music in the background. Grab a drink at the bar, exchange a few moves, and connect with the community. You are more than welcome to bring your own food- after 3 hours of workshops, we imagine food is needed. There are also several takeaway places in the area. Please don't bring your own drinks, as the bar is open. Known for her vibrant stage presence and profound connection to Dominican culture, Marcela has become one of the leading voices in promoting authentic Dominican bachata worldwide. Through Los Bonitillos, which she co-founded with Dominican dancer Luis Miguel Ortiz, Marcela has built a unique platform that bridges traditional Dominican roots with modern artistic expression. Their performances and workshops have been featured at numerous international congresses across Europe, US and Latin America. Beyond her work as a performer and educator, Marcela is also the co-organizer of the Ay Chi Chi Festival in Stockholm and a key organizer of the Bachata Festival in Santo Domingo — two celebrated events that bring together dancers, musicians, and cultural ambassadors to celebrate the diversity and richness of bachata. 🎶 What is Bachata?
