Bachata workshops with Pura Vida

Modern Bachata 8-9pm Bachata Fusion 9-10pm $15 each // $20 both Interested in performing?? Here's your chance to become part of the Pura Vida family! Who are we? We are an NYC-based performance team, focusing on the sensual and urban fusion side of Bachata. Founded in 2011, we have been invited to various congresses across the US, Canada and Western Europe. Our members come from professional backgrounds ranging from Accounting, Engineering, Social Workers, Teachers and full-time college students. Our love for Bachata gave us a common interest, our passion for dance made us FAMILY. Teams: Semi-Pro (advanced level) - must have prior performance experience with at least 2 years of training in a latin dance style. Must be willing to travel to congresses across the US and Internationally. Ability to learn choreo quickly and a leadership mentality is highly recommended. Rehearsal Times: Wednesdays 8:30-11pm Amateur (intermediate level) - performs locally with a few congress opportunities throughout the US and Canada. Must have at least 1-2 years of dance training with some performance experience. Must display good workmanship and commitment. Rehearsal Times: TBA Training (beginner level) - must be willing to commit 4-6 months. Must have a good understanding of timing and basic Bachata fundamentals. Performance experience not necessary.
