Latino Grooves & Salsa Connection unite to bring you TWO sizzling hot Latin dance competitions under the one roof! The SA SALSA STATE TITLES and SA BACHATA STATE TITLES will be held TOGETHER Saturday 10 Sept at the Arkaba Hotel! You will experience spectacular Salsa & Bachata dance performances by Adelaide's finest who will battle it out for the right to represent Adelaide at the Australian Salsa Classic and Australian Bachata Championships! Plus, a dazzling performance by special guests & judges MITCH BILIC & ELLICIA MCDONALD (NSW)! THEN on Sunday 11th - Mitch & Ellicia bring you BACHATANGO! just when you thought you knew everything about Bachata, we see people like Mitch & Ellicia take to another level! Bachata State Champions and Team Champions, they have a wealth of knowledge and experience behind them... you have to come and see what a difference they can make to your BACHATA! ►►► Sunday 11th September ◄◄◄ • Bachatango Workshops: • 11.30pm- Fundamentals of Bachatango! Learn the basic steps of Bachatango and convert basic bachata moves into Bachatango Steps. Discuss Bachtango music and its origin. • 12.45pm - Bachatango Styling! Learn the tango inspired elements of Bachatango. Master bachatango styling, from fancy arm styling to the tango inspired lunges and gaunchos (flicks). • 1.45pm - Lunch • 2.15pm - Bachatango for the Social Dance Floor! Learn a hot, sexy yet easily lead and followed Bachatango pattern that can be used on the social dance floor! • 3.30pm - Tricks and Dips!
