Join us in Berkeley for a monthly Latine Community Dance Party with live salsa, bachata, and more, centering consent and inclusivity! ¡BAILA! Every Third Friday of the Month! BAILA is like a spontaneous dance party that broke out in your kitchen, only if your kitchen had big wood floors, a live salsa band, a powerful sound system, and 200 of your friends, chosen family, and new faces ready to join the community. At La Peña, we believe that joy and dance are forms of liberation. Movement is essential to our well-being, and gathering in community keeps our spirit alive. That's why every third Friday of the month , La Peña becomes the Bay Area's most joyful and inclusive dance floor. Each edition of BAILA features a different live salsa band, our resident DJs, DJ José Ruíz and DJ Ron , easy-to-follow gender-inclusive salsa and bachata dance classes, and food and drinks from our neighbors Los Cilantros Mexican Restaurant .
