And the weekend starts with a blast with our first Gala-Milonga of this year's fest! On Mai 19th: 9 pm until 2:30 am featuring the spectacular music DJ Felipe Martinez (SF) who will keep us on our feet until the wee hours! Special performance (not to be missed) by the fabulous Alejandro Larenas & Marisol Morales We are excited to present a new Bailongo Location! The Friday and Saturday night gala-milongas will be held at the ''Monastère'' at the St-Jax centre located in the oldest Anglican Church in Montreal. The site is presently used by a circus group for performances, so the sound and lighting should be wonderful! LOCATION: 1439 Ste-Catherine St West, (use the Bishop Street entrance). La soirée mettra en vedette les incroyables danseurs / profs, Alejandro Larenas & Marisol Morales. C'est Felipe Martinez (de San Francisco) qui sera notre dj de la soirée. Nous sommes ravis de vous présenter un tout nouvel endroit pour nos soirées galas du vendredi et samedi soir: Le Sanctuaire (situé au 1439 Ste-Catherine Ouest - porte due Bishop) est la plus ancienne partie du Centre St Jax, une splendide église de style néo-gothique construite en 1864. Toujours utilisé pour les services du dimanche, le St-Jax sert également de port d'attache à une troupe de cirque locale et est utilisé pour des spectacles et des événements spéciaux. La salle dispose d'un système de son de grande qualité, ainsi que de magnifiques capacités d'éclairage.
