And the weekend starts with a blast with our first Gala-Milonga of this year's fest! On Mai 17th: 9 pm until 2 am featuring the spectacular music DJ Georges Naasan (NY) who promises to keep us on our feet until the wee hours! An up and coming and very popular Dj in the U.S, Georges was to DJ at our (cancelled) 2020 Bailongo Fest, and we are thrilled that he is available to join our team this year! Special performance (not to be missed) by the fabulous Moira Castellano and Octavio Fernandez. We are excited to return to the fabulous location we used during last year's Bailongo. The ''Monastère''/ St-Jax Centre is located in the oldest Anglican Church in Montreal. The site is presently used by a circus group for performances, so the sound and lighting quality is really superior! LOCATION: 1439 Ste-Catherine St West, 👉 (use the Bishop Street entrance). Located near Guy-Concordia metro station. La soirée mettra en vedette les incroyables danseurs / profs, Moira Castellano & Octavio Fernandez. C'est Georges Naasan (de NY) qui sera notre dj de la soirée. Dj super populaire, Georges est régulièrement invité comme DJ à travers les États-Unis dans certains des festivals et marathons les plus prestigieux. Il aurait été DJ lors de notre Bailongo Fest 2020 (annulé), et nous sommes ravis qu'il soit disponible pour participer à l’édition 2024 de Bailongo Montréal! Nous sommes ravis de pouvoir organiser cette soirée à la magnifique salle ''Le Monastère'' située dans la plus ancienne partie du Centre St Jax, une splendide église de style néo-gothique construite en 1864. Toujours utilisé pour les services du dimanche, le St-Jax sert également de port d'attache à une troupe de cirque locale et est utilisé pour des spectacles et des événements spéciaux. La salle dispose d'un système de son de grande qualité, ainsi que de magnifiques capacités d'éclairage.
