Intensive Balboa w/ World Champions Bobby & Annabel Friday, February 21 & Saturday, February 22 To prepare dancers for NYC's fantastic and upcoming BalWeek, world champions Bobby & Annabel will take Beginner-intermediates and Intermediate Bal dancers on a journey through the fundamentals of the Balboa dances. And they'll do so in their renown style of instruction that brings the dance to life in the classroom. Pure Balboa Intensive Friday,February 21st 7-9pm In this two hour workshop, Annabel and Bobby will take dancers through the seven fundamentals of PURE BALBOA, the beautiful and subtle chest-to-chest swing dance. They'll cover topics such as drifting, finding "swing," "the floor sensation," and more. Dancers should know and be comfortable with Pure Bal basics. Pricing: $40 In Advance/$50 Day Of ------------- Bal-Swing Intensive Saturday, February 22 1:30-4:30pm In this three hour workshop, Bobby and Annabel will take dancers through the eight fundamentals of BAL-SWING, the performative, expressive, action-packed sibling of Pure Balboa. They'll cover topics like "Elastic Leading and Following," "The Lattice connection," lateral momentum, and more.
