Balboa Workshops w Kate Hedin & David Rehm

What if you could take a Balboa class from two of the world's best Balboa dancers, right in your own home town? Well, kiddos, y'all are in LUCK! We are thrilled to welcome Kate Hedin & David Rehm to RVA Swing for an afternoon of intermediate level Balboa workshops. 1pm: Pure Bal: Beyond the Basics Refine and expand your close-embrace Balboa in this 2 hr workshop. All students must already be able to dance close-embrace Balboa socially and should be familiar with uphold and downhold basics, progressives, side scoots, paddles and come-arounds. 3:30pm: Bal-Swing Explorations Turns and kicks and spins, oh my! It's time to work on the flow in your open-position Balboa. All students must be able to demonstrate out&ins, lollies, and basic toss-outs. Advance registration is STRONGLY encouraged as our studio is small and we do expect these workshops to sell out.
